4 of the Best Christmas Movies

Hey Everybody! Welcome to Day 1 of Christmas with A Little Bit of Life!!! If you didn’t catch yesterday’s post, in a nutshell, basically for the next 2 weeks I will be posting on A Little Bit of Life EVERY SINGLE DAY of my christmas break!! I am super excited to do this and to bring you this first post!

What is Christmas without those awesome Christmas movies that you watch every year and have loved since you were a child? Everybody has movies like this that you can only watch once a year and these are my top 4 favourite Christmas movies of all time. I watch them every once and it would not be christmas without them, because they are so great. Let’s get into it!!

#1: Dr.Suess’ The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

This movie is litterally the bomb. If you have not seen it yet, I don’t know what it say. You just have to go watch it. As you can proabbly tell, this is the “real person” version of the classic grinch story with Jim Carrey (who plays the Grinch). Jim Carrey is so great in this role, and plays it so well. If you are a fan of Jim Carrey you MUST watch this at some point. It’s funny, cute and gets you right into the spirit of Christmas.

#2:  Jack Frost

This movie is arguably one of my favourite christmas movies, out of this whole list. If you have never heard of it before, it is about a boy and his dad. One christmas his dad dies, and the son (Charlie) is really upset because his dad was never around much but he was always quite close to him and looked up to him. Then, the next Christmas after building a snow man in his front yard, Charlie’s dad’s spirit goes into the snowman and they get to spend time together and go on adventures. This movie is just heart-warming, cute and really fun to watch. I highly recommend it.

#3: Fred Claus

This movie is also super great! Vince Vaughn is one of the main characters and he is great and super funny as usual in the role. This movie is about Fred Claus (vince vaughn) who is the brother of the Santa Claus (how cool would that be?)and fred has always kinda lived in the shadow of his brother and felt kinda like the less loved son of his parents because his brother is Santa Claus. Craziness ensues and Fred must help his brother complete a successful Christmas, along with other funny things that you will just have to watch the movie to see. This movie is on tv around this time every year and it is always a must watch.

#4: Home Alone 1&2

This movie is just a absolute CLASSIC that you have to watch every christmas. ( The story of Kevin and the things he does while home alone on christmas: ordering pizzas to eat on his own and defending his home from bad guys who want to hurt him his priceless and a staple from all of my Christmases as a child. I like both Home Alone 1&2, and highly recommend you watch at least one of them this Christmas. (I like the first one the best, just so you know). Christmas would not be Christmas without the creative antics of Kevin McCallister, I think that’s something we can all agree on.

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you enjoyed the first installment of Christmas with A Little Bit of Life!! I’m super excited to continue doing posts for you guys everyday for the next two weeks so don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for another post ! Lemme know in the comments what your favourite annual Christmas movies are and whether you have watched them this year yet, because I would love to check them out!! Bye for now!
