Holly Jolly Christmas Tunes

Hey everyone! Welcome to Day 3 of Christmas with A Little Bit of Life! I hope you have been enjoying the beginning of my two weeks of posts EVERY SINGLE DAY through Christmas and the New Year so far! It’s been so great putting posts out to you guys’ after such a long break.
You guys know I love my music and that I love my Spotify so I thought it would not be A Little Bit of Life Christmas without me telling you guys my favourite Christmas tunes that get you into the Holiday spirit. (With the help of the lovely music app, Spotify, which I highly reccommend you check out.) So without further ado, here are my favourite Christmas songs!

#1: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Daniela Andrade
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/177r7J6bnoMnW4MQx1GQng

Youtube: http://youtu.be/qTfGoHnIzn4

This is a new Christmas favourite for me this year after hearing it on the tv show Saving Hope and I love this version of the classic song. The artists voice is so lovely and soft; she sings it beautifully! I think I maay like this better than the original…. so you should definitely check it out.

#2: Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Darlene Love
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/4TJ7VNAE34mEMrvUTCRvtF

Youtube: http://youtu.be/4EvZOXEoJ84

This is song is one of the most popular Christmas songs you will hear and I absolutely love it. As Christmas was just starting to come round’ the corner, this was the song I first started singing to myself in my bedroom. It was also one of the first songs I added to my Christmas Spotify playlist this year. So if you haven’t heard this song before, or at least the original version of it, you MUST listen to this now.

#3: Santa Baby by Eartha Kitt
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/5LoszK8ZP9ZBWc4BAOUXo7

Youtube: http://youtu.be/Mk_GmhD053E

There are a lot of different versions of this song out there, done by a lot of different artists but this version is probably the best, and my personal favourite. The way that that Eartha sings it just embodies the song perfectly. She sings it so awesomely and for that alone, you should totally listen to this.

#4: Run Rudolph Run by Chuck Berry
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/6Vq0f3eKFxHcZFAMA9HiLl

Youtube: http://youtu.be/b4GlAneEa78

This song is on my favourites because it is an awesome song to jam our, and dance to during the Christmas Season. It makes you wanna move and gets you right in the Christmas spirit. Simply stated: I Love this song and you should just go check it out.

#5: Mary, Did You Know? by Pentatonix
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/4z8sz6E4YyFuEkv5o7IJni

Youtube: http://youtu.be/ifCWN5pJGIE

This is another new Christmas favourite that I recently discovered. I have gained a new appreciation for Pentatonix from their cover of Cheerleader by Omi which I loved, and this song is no exception. They put such nice a nice modern, hip hoppy, twist on this song and it is the best thing. Definitely go listen to this.

#6: Hark! The Heralds Angels Sing by Pentatonix
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/7DG0w4DhCctrvlXIai22yg

Youtube: http://youtu.be/QJsC0Xr7lq8

Once again, with this song, Pentatonix was slaying me with their awesome cover of this song by making it poppy, upbeat, joyful and so fun to listen and dance too. (This happens about 50 secs in, so give it a good chance). I could not NOT mention this song alongside the one I mentioned above. This is something totally worth adding to your Christmas favourites.

#7: Sleigh Ride by Walk off the Earth
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/0WR3Y6l751tKYI1fRsn8ac

Youtube: I could not find this one on Youtube! Check it out on Spotify ^^

There are alot of different versions of this song out there but I love how the voices of Walk off the Earth sing it, making it their own. It’s fun and great to listen to during the Christmas season and it is definitely worth checking out this version of a classic Christmas favourite.

#8: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/2yxTGxTDbgcbMN0Ae102bn

Youtube: http://youtu.be/RLpr0zVFwMg

In case you haven’t already noticed, alot of these songs. are from the Home Alone soundtrack, mainly because Home Alone is probably where I gained my love of Christmas songs from. This song, is another from Home Alone, and I just love it. Brenda Lee’s voice is simply amazing in this song making this classic christmas song, easily one of my favourites. It just ain’t Christmas if you are not rockin’ around the Christmas tree with Brenda Lee.

#9: Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! by Frank Sinatra
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/7inXu0Eaeg02VsM8kHNvzM

Youtube: http://youtu.be/UOXwS-9xrW0

This song very easily gets stuck in your head because it is so catchy and great to listen too. Frank Sinatra has such a great voice and projects it so well in his version of this song. It always reminds me exactly of Christmas and it is a must listen if you are looking to add to your Christmas’ playlist.

#10: It’s Beginning to Look alot like Christmas by Johnny Mathis
Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/2osywe1cJ8mwmAYa25wN7X

Youtube: http://youtu.be/8g_at4YiHHU

Finally, we have another Home Alone soundtrack favourite that is so awesome. It’s another essential Christmas song you need to listen to this season, with Johnny Mathis’ awesome and powerful voice. It’s another classic that you can’t not listen too.

That’s it for now everybody! I hope you enjoyed this slightly lengthy post (sorry about that’!) and lemme know in the comments what some of your favourite Christmas songs are that you think I would enjoy. I will see you again tomorrow! Only two more days till Christmas!!!
